HfHR Endorses Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal's Kashmir Resolution

As a sign of our solidarity with the Kashmiri people, we wrote to Rep. Pramila Jayapal, to offer our support for her important resolution on Kashmir:

“Hindus for Human Rights (HfHR) is pleased to endorse Rep. Jayapal's resolution (HRes 745) on Kashmir. We are hearing from our contacts from Kashmir that there is a huge chasm between the Indian government's claims of normalcy and the ground reality. So, there is an urgent need for the United States and the rest of the world to keep up the pressure on India to take meaningful steps to ease the suffering of the Kashmiri people. We applaud Rep. Jayapal's initiative in this regard and sincerely hope that other congresspeople, especially those of Indian origin, will join her in passing it in the House."
