Start the New Year with Our 2024 Calendar!

Celebrate the new year with Hindus for Human Rights' 2023 Calendar!

Inspired by traditional Hindu devotional calendars you may be familiar with, this 2024 calendar celebrates progressive interpretations of our traditions, challenging conventional depictions of Hindu deities and sacred narratives.

The calendar includes Hindu festivals from a range of regions and traditions, as well as holidays from other religious traditions. It also includes historical events that have shaped modern South Asia and its diaspora, and birth and death anniversaries of notable social justice activists.

We hope this calendar can serve as a tool for spiritual reflection and political education.

We express our gratitude to the artists from around the world who generously offered their time and work to promote the vision of an inclusive Hindu identity and a socially just world: Sagar Varma, Meghna Unnikrishnan , Omkar Padwal, Harsha Vandayar, Mariam Magsi, Anuj Shastrakar, Areesha Khuwaja, Radha Yamini, Benjamin Ghosh, Satyaki Chakrabarti, Sangeetha Kowsik, Angelica Razack-Francis
