Join us for a conversation with Indian activists on how women's political power impacts their freedom of movement in India. This discussion will explore whether increased political participation can help address gender-based violence, particularly for caste-oppressed and minority women.

We will also examine how women’s participation across caste and faith influences government policies on gender justice and explore legal, cultural, and political solutions to ensure bodily autonomy and safety for women and gender minorities in India.
