On August 10, 2021, several student activists and civil society members gathered near Jantar Mantar in Delhi to peacefully protest against the alleged inflammatory sloganeering at a rally by leaders including BJP's Ashwini Upadhyay who was soon released on bail. At this peaceful protest, more than hundred protesters were detained by police.
